To call my self a keen web designer and programmer would be an understatement, I live and breath everything about it!
My knowledge and understanding has expanded dramatically over the 7+ years I have been developing websites. As a self-taught designer and programmer, I have always been extremely motivated and passionate about honing my skills to keep up with the ever changing web standards and expectations.
I enjoy reading up on how sites are created, the new techniques or ideas that are being constantly being put forward. All of which is how I've learnt to produce complex as well as simple, aesthetically pleasing websites that have clean and understandable coding in various programming languages.
I do my best to work as closely as possible with my clients to give them exactly what they want, if you're not happy, I'm not happy! Every design and feature is made specific to your requirements, afterall, it's your site, not mine!
Like every designer out there, I continually enhance my design and creativity skills to constantly keep at the top of the game. I use Photoshop for logo and typography designs and Fireworks for the layout, before making it web friendly in Dreamweaver.
The web is evolving at an extrememly fast rate with the powerful styling techniques becoming a must have for modern websites. Keeping on top of this is difficult but a necessity, I strive to know every tip, trick and technique to acheive the results people want.
Asynchronous sites have crept up to become a big player with the likes of Facebook, YouTube and Google, making user interactivity quick and enjoyable. Using this I can make site functionality interesting, reliable, modern and simple for your users to navigate and enjoy their experience.
Having a dynamically driven site is another must have for almost every modern websites, with this knowledge I can create you an easy to use content management system to maintain your site, set you up with an online store, community forums or give you your very own blog.
Search Engine Optimization is an important part in helping people find your site, afterall, you want your site to be noticed and viewed once it's online. I use Google Analytics to help adapt sites to bring back better results and show solid figures to help boost hits.
